Gaming Laptops, Custom Laptops And UMPCs An Evolving Sector

Posted by admin - June 28th, 2008

Laptops have most likely been on the top of everybodies must have list lately. In fact demand is so enormous that taiwanese manufactures are forcasting part shortages before hand. I think the bad thing for manufacturers is that it doesn’t look like any factor will stop this demand for laptops. This is a trade that is looking to better on numerous things all in one go so new trends and excitement is created all the time.

With all the recent progress in technology gaming laptops have gained a great deal in my opinion. These days you get a lot more for your money because the new technology is always around the corner. I play games on my laptop on a regular basis and must say I’m delighted how playable some of the intense games are. Past problems with giant, hot laptops for gaming are disssapearing and new slimmer, slicker products are coming out. Power of computers should infinitely be a step ahead of laptops but its still inspiring to see. The evolution of gaming laptops indicates that they will become sleeker and weightless in the future.

Despite the fact that the market share is dominated by brands selling via retail channels I feel the direct channel and custom built laptops will always be here. The main advantages here are the fact that you can usually get advanced aftermarket parts in custom laptops. By being able to eliminate some additional things from the configuration you can actually save money on things you don’t intend to use. If you will be doing more specialist work on your notebook computer then those prebuilt systems will probably not offer all the flexibililty and power you require. This is the purpose as to why custom laptops are here. Manufacturers who trade custom laptops traditionally offer a more personalised and local service as well. Yet an additional good factor.

I’m actually waiting to see what portables get released in the future. Laptops purely for surfing the world wide web etc are coming to the market one after the other. The Eee PC just made a new niche sector. If a brand puts together a laptop that has a big screen but is also weightless at an affordable market price I feel it would be a huge success. If we forget about processing power I’m sure we would witness those types of laptops today. Manufacturers are encasing increaed performance into portables and it looks like gaming laptops will get slimmer and lightweight. Every 12 months we encounter new gadgets so who knows what we will see next.

In my opinion Rizeon have the best laptops in terms of price and performance.
